Bullring Academy Business Menteeships

What Is Business Menteeship ?  Why isn’t it a Mentorship?

Why the Bullring Academy Menteeship is a Market Disturbing Innovation?

Traditional industry mentoring is based upon the premise of indentured servitude. This ancient system of on-the-job training goes back to the guilds of the middle ages. Inexperienced and developing  professionals signed a contract known as an ‘indenture’, binding them to serve a master for seven years in exchange for learning his trade.

Its all about YOU!

Bullring Menteeship

Bullring Academy Menteeships break this archaic and outdated system which is singularly focused upon the business outcomes and profit of the mentor.

In contrast a Bullring Academy Menteeships is based upon the proactive effort by self-leaders to establish, manage, and sustain a relationship with a mentor who will guide and support the mentee in the achievement of goals, outcomes, and vision.

This market disturbing innovation has the following benefits:

  • Eliminates the quid pro quo (I will do this for you if you do this for me)
  • Eliminates ethical and boundary issues
  • Ensures that the mentees business is the focus of the mentoring relationship
  • Eliminates ego driven power games
  • Creates an environment of professionalism, business etiquette, mutual respect
  • Creates an action learning environment for servant leadership skills and know how

At the Bullring Academy we encourage all of our mentees to take a proactive role in their mentor relationship. Experience has told us that this is the key to unlocking the true potential of what could be the most crucial business relationship in your life.

It is important to be mindful that Business Mentors are often busy navigating a lot of complexity every day, with a lot of powerful high net worth individuals and companies. So the time they spend teaching you, advising you, encouraging you, opening doors for you, showing you the politics and subtleties of business and helping you understand power structures is priceless.
